Acidophilus Bifidus – Your Friendly Neighborhood Bacteria

Acidophilus Bifidus – Your Friendly Neighborhood Bacteria

Rarely would the words “bacteria” and “Good” be used in the same sentence. But with the Acidophilus Bifidus, this is certainly appropriate. You can even dump in “Friendly” in that sentence.

Because it is.

Acidophilus Bifidus is a friendly bacteria that provides a treasure chest full of health benefits. Acidophilus Bifidus is a combination of two separate bacterium, the Acidophilus and the bifidobacteria. Together with the Acidophilus, Lactobacillus Acidophilus and the Primadophilus, they are known as probiotics.

Each of them can provide many benefits to a person’s digestive organs and healing digestive disorders. This can include irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, flatulence, urinary tract infections, halitosis, candida overgrowth and vaginal yeast infection.

They also help suppress the growth of pathogens and have been known to protect the body from carcinogens.

Many doctors and physicians recommend the intake of probiotics especially when a person is taking antibiotics. This is to add population to the probiotics found in the body which can be eliminated by the antibiotic.

When the body experiences a decreased number of probiotics such as the Acidophilus Bifidus in the body, certain diseases may occur like yeast infection.

While there is no known serious side effect in taking Acidophilus Bifidus, it is better to consult a doctor first before ingesting it. Some people have been known to experience gas in the first few days after Acidophilus Bifidus intake. This is just a natural reaction by the body that is adjusting to the ingestion. But otherwise, Acidophilus Bifidus is a natural occurring bacteria that is good for our body.
